Fiat Brava 1.8 ´96(Not connected)

Post by -FINN- » 10 Feb 2010, 23:15

The program does not work with Airbag 3 pin connections.
Read "HowToUse" but the connection does not occur.
Cable is where and how to connect I know, but does not work.
Something can be done?

i dont understand "To connect to the airbag ECU you need to connect your cable to pin 3 of the OBD connector."
What should I do with standard OBD2 cable and adapter to Fiat 3 pin connector?

Do nothing!
Just plug and play.
To play with pins is necessary only if connect to car with OBD socket.

Hi,

I think that your car hs an old version of BREED airbag which is not supported by the program.

Because it's recomended. I have this adapter: http://www.allegro.pl/show_item.php?item=908733058 but I did not have time to try it(with marea, only tested with stilo EOBD), but from what I read on another forum (in Polish) is just to do so.

EDIT: Well, U forced me to test interfejs and adapter on my marea.
When battery plus not connected, the led light on vag kkl is off and i can't connect.

When battery plus is connected, the led light on vag kkl is on and i can connect(with airbag, abs and engine-i had to choose brava 1,6).

EDIT2:
Correct(with plus connector) adapter U can buy on ebay:
- in PL: http://cgi.ebay.pl/ADAPTER-OBD2-FIAT-3P ... 3a57d33f58
- in D: http://cgi.ebay.pl/Adapter-Stecker-Fiat ... 3ca9b134b1
