Hy guys, i bought an elm327 v1.5 interface (clone) and succesfully connected it to my pc, succesfully connected to MES and when i press the TEST button all AT commands are OK and says "This interface is compatible with ELM 327 1.4! Should connect properly with all CAN modules."
The problem is that i can't connect to my car (FIAT GRANDE PUNTO 2008), every time i try to connect shows this error:
CONNECTION FAILED
ELM 327 -> Connection Failed
Check your cable and serial port settings

I tested with a multimeter pin 6 and 14 to check for the famous "120 ohm resistor" but i don't have any resistance on them..

I'm trying to post pictures of my pcb but i don't know how to attach the photos..

HELP ME PLEASE, I'M GETTING MAD :x

hello to all of you

I have a problem with two elm327 interfaces
Both worked perfectly and allowed me to get into all systems from my alfa 159

Suddenly they stopped working and allow me to enter only on the engine control unit.

Can anyone help me fix the problem and get them working again?

I attach a photo of the two interfaces and test carried out with multiecuscan 3.9

Hi all!

I having some issues connecting to my 2011 Fiat Punto Evo with a cable I have just received.
When I do a scan to scan all readable modules, I get absolutely nothing back, just 'COMPLETED'

I have attached a couple of pictures of my cables board, but not sure if I have to do as the guide says and remove a resistor.
I cant seem to identify which one it would be?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. There is such a bluetooth adapter that shows the following parameters.
I would like to get him to work with AlfaOBD.
Car Alfa Romeo 159 2.2 JTS.
What options can you offer?

I have just bought what must be a clone ELM327.

I am trying to connect to a Fiat 500 with the yellow cable.

MES can see the interface fine and says "This interface is compatible with ELM 327 1.4! Should connect properly with all CAN modules."

However when I try and connect to Body > CAN Info it fails (I am using the demo/free version)

I have measured the resistance between pins 6 and 14 is open circuit so it looks like there is no resistor to remove.

Any ideas what to try next?

The board does not look the same as many others and uses a CH340G USB to serial chip.

Hi All

I checked all image of page 150 to 247, but cannot find an Elm327 WiFi with this circuit board. I do measure 120ohm between pin 6 and 14. Which resistor should I remove to work with MultiECUscan?

Thanks already!
