Cable problem

Post by admin » 29 Feb 2020, 15:03

Hi,

I have bought a ELM cable from idiagnostics for my Fiat Bravo mk2.
When connected the gauge cluster displays ASR,ESP and Hill Holder error. Also, the external temperature is not displaying and the car wont start.

When connecting the KKL (also from idiagnostics) and a cheap Bluetooth OBD2 adapter everything is working fine.
Has anyone had any similar issues? The cable is working fine on the Fiat Punto mk2 and Fiat Stilo.
Is the required pinout for the Bravo different than for the Stilo?

Car info:
Fiat Bravo 2008
1.4 Tjet

Unfortunately no, I am still looking for a solution. If anyone could offer some advice regarding this issue?
Maybe it is an earthing problem?
