Hello everyone!

I have this sample in attachment. Can anyone help me which resistor I should remove? It worked properly but suddenly it stopped connecting to ECU. Thank you in advance!

Good afternoon everyone,
my name is bboy46 and i write from Italy.
i bought the following ELM327 interface, sold as V1.5 but MES told me that it's a v1.4. i tried to connect with this interface to my car (Punto Evo 1.3 75cv DPF Euro5, 2011) but it doesn't work. i need to reset the service message on my car and to able the cruise control with MES. i already read every of the 214 page of this forum, but i didn't found nothing similar to mine.
Could please any of you help me? could you also suggest me which version of MES can i use?
thank you in advance for your support, i'm waiting for you.

You say that MES did not work? Have you purchased a license as for your vehicle the Service Reset and all the other functions require a valid license.

Without a license you can will only be able to read the vehicle CAN bus/device information. You should try to do this to check that you can connect to the car.

i tried with a free version of MES, and when i go to connect to my car only to test the funcionality of the interface, MES tells me that it's impossible to establish a connection. i tried with a free version of MES to check the interface, so if it works i would buy a MES license.
could you suggest me which is the bettere version of MES for my car (punto evo 1.3 75cv DPF)?
@s130
what do you think about this interface? do you think that it works with MES without modify it? or do you think that i have to remove the 120ohm resistor? and if i have to remove it, could you suggest where phisically is it on the logic board?
thank you in advance for your support,
i'm waiting for you.

The latest version of MES is always the one you should use. Using an earlier version is only recommended when there is a known regression problem that will need to be fixed in a later/next release.

I have no experience of diagnosing / resolving ELM interface issues as I have always recommended people only buy products from the recommend supplier lists on the MES site.

Others have worked on and resolved issues with some units so I hope that they will respond here.

Dear all,

Could someone point me in the right direction?

I have bought an ELM327 clone that should've already been altered in order to function correctly in MES. However, in MES I can start the Proxi Alignment, but it will only write to the NBC:

Writing to module: Body Computer Node (NBC) SUCCESS!
Writing to module: Dashboard Node (NQS) Unknown error
Writing to module: Climate Control Node (NCL) FAILED! - Unknown error

R04 and R05 are 101 resistors

Thanks!!
