Hi,

I have connected an unmodified wifi ELM to my fiat 500 convertible. From the licenced software, I can access abs for exemple. It's connected.

Now I need to access the convertible ecu to reset it and face 2 problems:

1* it is not wired inside but only hard pins an printed board. Can I connect 1 and 9 without cutting 6 and 14 ?
2* My multimeter read 9 Ohm between 6 and 14 but I see only a 120 Ohm resistor close to the ELM chip. Can I assume its my multimeter fault (9,1 Ohm on the 200 scale and 1 on the 2000 scale, not a scaling problem something worst)

My picture is a mess, my focusing dont work.

Thanks,
FX

Tested both side of the 121 ohm resistor close to LM chip (between two pins in the middle on one side of the chip), pin 6 and pin 14 for the plug are connected there. Still read 10Ohm on my cheap multimeter, there come my worry from so OK.

The hard pin were not that hard, I cut two of them easily. Most difficult was to find a little pliers. OK

Had'nt the time to remove the resistor yet. For this wifi 1,5 ELM not wired inside so far so good.

HI I have MES installed on two different notebooks.
An old one with XP. MES 3.6 and 3.7 is able to connect to the car with elm 327 clone and proper adpater cable BUT does not complete service reset while connects to other ECUs. The only functin that is accomplished is the DPF timer reset after oil change, but not working on other parameters.
Another PC is a new one with win10 but MES fails to connect for service reset at all.
Any help, suggestion from you?
Thanks

Windows 64bit is allowed for the ELM327 ? I saw at least one ELM's ad with "'windows 32 bit only"'.

Hi there fans, I have a problem with this Chinese ELM 327 bluetooth adapter. Everywhere the test is ok, but at the end it says it can not connect. Is there a way to go, or I will need another. Thanks!
