Uconnect 7 updates after reftofit.

Is it possible to update the firmware and tomtom maps on a unconnect 7 after retrofit? mines on 8.10.2.

Hi!
Of course!
Newest firmware for U7 is 23.03.17.01 for HW version D4.
For HW version D3 is last compatible version 23.02.01.15.
Last free compatible maps for TomTom is 1060 than fiat applicate VIN protect on map licence key...
You can buy it for one year in your dealershop.
At last i have question:
After swapping uconnect did you do VIN change in it?
If Yes HOW?

no i have not done A vin change thats why I am asking about updates, the uconnect is not receiving updates at all, I think the VIN in the unit is blacklisted.

First check your HW in engineering menu.
Than download FW update from rapidshare or somewhere else, load it on empty USB and stick into port in your car and wait for update uConnect...

For Navi map update you can free upate till 1055 or 1060...
newer maps has VIN protect...
But if you swap radio it has native VIN from donate car...
So you need to buy maps for that VIN or rewrite VIN in your uConnect module for current VIN of your car...

I do understand but i have been looking for days and can`t find any where to download the firmware update.
