KKL VAG Airbag Ecu modification

Hello everyone,
i was looking for help to mod the KKL cable for linking my Alfa Romeo TWR2 Airbag to Multiecuscan, since i have to reset the damned red light on the console.
Could someone explain me what do i have to do? i read that pin 3 and pin 7 must be connected together, but is it the only thing to do?
I noticed that people also interrupted one of the 4 central connectors, why? Also whic one of the 4 connectors is the K-line, how can i find it with a tester? Please i need help.
