Newbie here . I've downloaded the licensed version 4.6R1 but I have a problem with resetting the latency timer for my ELM327(v1.5) interface. It is set up and recognised by the software (test all comes back OK) but it comes back with an error 'Latency too high!!!' and it won't connect to the vehicle (2015 Fiat 500 1.2 8v) .
I have gone into the device manager advanced settings as described in the user guide but I have nowhere that I can change the latency timer. I have tried in on a Windows Xp and 2 different Windows 7 machines but they are all the same.
After going into the Port settings and clicking on the advanced button it goes immediately to the screen to set the buffers. In the instructions and everywhere I have looked on the internet there should be a screen before this
Can anyone tell me how to access the latency timer please? I think this is all I might need to do to be able to connect to the car and proceed.
