Jeep Renegade 1.6 E-Torq

Post by iamkrzysiek » 06 Mar 2019, 13:24

Hello,
I have Jeep Renegade Sport 1.6 E-Torq. (EU ver)
Is this supported model?
Supported vehicles list page (https://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx) doesn't include this variant.
There are only listed:
Jeep Renegade 1.4 16V MultiAir
Jeep Renegade 1.6 Multijet 16V
Jeep Renegade 1.8 16V
Jeep Renegade 2.0 Multijet 16V

I want to buy Cruise Control steering panel and enable it in MES. Is it possible?

I think its possible, if the body computer is the same, but the first Renegade 2015 they had no radar compatible with the ACC. what year is your Jeep??

I dream of this engine in the new versions of multiecuscan. I have to activate the rear camera, clear climate error in the odometer and more!

I have 2017 version.
I have base version, without any radar features.
I want to add traditional passive cruise control by adding buttons on steering wheel:

I don't really know if required wiring and socket is present in wheel for module. Maybe somebody disassembled wheel before?
Of course I know that active cruise control is absolutely not possible because of lack of FCW (forward collision warning) and radar.

I would buy Multiecuscan anyway if 1.6 engine would be available becasue I want to reset service interval.
I tried connecting with demo version selecting Jeep Renegade 1.8 and Fiat 500X 1.6 but ISO mismatch warning displays.

I had:

1) Installed entire steering wheel with CC buttons from another car (wheel wiring is different so solely module isn't enough)
2) Enabled Cruise Control in AlfaOBD (MES is missing 1.6 E-Torq engine)
3) Made PROXY Alignment (ELM327 + blue & gray adapters)
4) It works! :D

Hello iamkrzysiek:

I'am triying to do exactly the same that you did with the CC on your Renegade.
I had a Fiat 500X and has similar proxis with Renegade , so I'm triying modifing manually the proxi bytes.
I wanna now if you can help me with a copy of your proxi map after and before the changes that you do with MES to activate Cruise Control.

First you have to check the BCM level...
Send a BCM label photo if it is possible...

Thanks cherner for the reply ,¿ How many levels there are?, I tested all bytes (CC-ADAPT-, ETC) on byte 92 , signals to Engine Control, and yes the proble is between NBC and NCM.

If you have L0 on your BCM label, cruise control will not work on your car!
