Hi, is my first post here and i want ask help about this retrofit.
Customer of mine ask me if is possibile retrofit on his Ducato x290 with Vin: ZFA25000002C59879 the genuine LED drl headlight.
I have already buy and fit the headlight, the process is just plug&play and also the pinout seems to be exactly the same.
The problem born with the Body computer that is not able to work with the new headlight, as i think i need to modify the proxi file to enable the new headlight correctly.

If can be useful i can post the proxi file read with MULTIPLEXED edition of MES.
If any kind guy can help me would be really appreciate :) , because local FIAT dealer is not able to provide me any information or advice about that, because for FIAT is a not possible and allowed retrofit.
If needed, ready to provide any other details about the veichle.

Best Regard, Davide.

Hello,

I am new at this Forum, and i have the same "Problem" as Davidemx. I bought 2 headlights for Fiat Ducato X290 with LED Daylights for retrofit.
Has anyone experience in programming the right parameters for this modification ? Is Multiecuscan capable for this re-programming ?

greets Fossi

I might be wrong, but my understanding is that the type of headlight unit fitted is fixed in the body computer during manufacture and cannot be changed.

Hi, quite happy to know other people are in my situation.
I'm 100% sure that kind of retrofit is possibile, because few people in Italy have arlready do that.
From my last message i have menage to change in NBC the headlight type to LED.
The NBC accept this new parameter but not command the headlight as it should.
I hope someone can clear our doubt about that retrofit.

Best Regard, Davide.

Hi,
you can read proxi setup from a Ducato with LED DRL option installed... Then compare settings..

Hi. I have experience in this kind of work. To activate LED DRL, you need to change 2 bytes in the Custom Proxy. 76 bytes DRL Type 20-bulb, 28-LED and 134 bytes from 80 to A0.
