Multiair problem!

Post by Grandy » 31 May 2014, 08:44

I have Mito qv -10 and MES 1.9. Now i have a small problem when the MES to inform that> Uniair actuator dispersion correction Status - in progress! This is self-inflicted, and I can not get it off. I understand that MultiEcuscan can not get it out? Check engine light flashes continuously and the start / stop does not work! I hope someone help me because my english needs little practice and thats why sort message ;)

I have searched, and found nothing...
there has to be a way to clear this error or rectify it.

i have even posted on alfaowner....http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/south-af ... -mito.html

awaiting a response/help.

took car to dealer and they sorted out the error.
also apparently multiecuscan 2.0 does this correctly with no errors.

Just used MES 2.9 to perform the "oil change" option on my Mito QV. I now appear to have the same problem. "P1320 - Uniair module learn" is present and under parameters the "UniAir actuator dispersion correction status" is "In progress". Had the engine idling for 15 minutes, no change. Should we simply not execute the "Oil change" when we actually do a physical oil change or what is the situation.

And yes... I know this an old topic ;-)

Problem solved. Apparently the "Oil change" option should never be executed. Alfa Romeo no longer has that option in their testers and it is only old and unoriginal testers that pose a risk by having this option. There is a risk that performing "Oil change" causes a fault. The only way to reset it is by updating already has the newest software there is only one option left: fitting a new ECU.
