Fiat Siena 1.6 16v 1998

Post by Weird » 14 Mar 2012, 16:13

Hi there (and here),
Firstly, sorry for my alien English...
I have a car (with 3-pin connector - obd1) like I said in a topic and can't connect via multiecuscan with usb cables like blue one with switch for ECU, ABS and AirBag. Please, tell me if anybody connect and diagnose something in that car, by what adapter you connecting.
I have adapter like this (probably 1.3 version): http://www.service-1.org/product,194133 ... 69438.html
and this: http://www.dhgate.com/vag-kkl-usb-fiat- ... f4df2.html
and 3-pin connector.
I think about CANtieCar but it's too expensive for me now and still I don't know it willbe working...
Thanks In advance for your Help.
Chris (greetings from Poland).

Hello! Fiat Siena does not appear in the Supported Cars List (http://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx)

Since it is a 1998 car, maybe you need a Fiat proprietary tool... I am not sure, all I know is that Fiat has been using KWP-2000 protocol and line K, and after 2006 they use CAN Bus and ISO 14229

Thanks sv095 for Reply and for a name of protocol - now I know more about what I suppose to find.
There absent Fiat Siena 1.6 16v on a support list, but it has the same ecu like Fiat Palio 1.6 16v, so I still believe... If I'm wrong, please enlight me.
"Fiat proprietary tool" (Fiat Examiner if I'm correct) is too expensive for me.
Greetings for you all.
