gear box sensor

i have been on fiat ecu scan with vagcom cable for my fiat stilo arbarth 2.4 and there is a fault with the gear box sensor wich needs recalabrating but says i must first bleed the clutch this is a selespeed(triptonic)gear box how is this done?
