I got another KKL lead and can now connect to the ABS ECU and the Engine ECU.
The Airbag ECU however won't respond. Now I have been told FES may not cover the ECU in my car as different ones were fitted and not all info is available.
I looked at the ECU and the make is TRW as stated in FES, but no other model/markings etc except a serial number.
So either the ECU is not covered or it's faulty which is why the airbag light is on.
So...(after all that)......are the airbag ECU's interchangeable. I mean, if mine is not covered by FES, can I get one from another GTV/145/146 of the same era that is covered and plug that straight in ?
My car is a 97 Ph1 Alfa GTV 2litre 16v. Engine ECU is Motronic 2.10.4.
