Multiecuscan 2.6 RELEASED!

Post by yani » 27 Nov 2010, 19:59

Hi,

I released Multiecuscan 2.6 today with the following new features:
- Added support for Grande Punto, 500, MITO, Punto Evo
- Added PROXI Alignment (CAN Setup) Procedure. You simply have to Connect an the program will analyze the configuration of your vehicle's CAN network. Then you have to execute the adjustment and the odometer will not flash anymore.
- Added Stilo Dashboard Cruise Control Light Activation. Works on all Stilos with retrofitted cruise control.
- Added Bosch Motronic Me7.9.10 CF5/EOBD Injection (1.4 16V) (Grande Punto, 500, MITO) support
- Added Marelli 6F3 EOBD Diesel Injection (Grande Punto, 500, MITO) support
- Added Service Interval Reset for Grande Punto, 500, MITO
- Added DELPHI Electric Steering (Grande Punto, 500, MITO) support
- Added Full support for Bluetooth ELM 327 interfaces. Bluetooth ELM327 interfaces work completely STABLE now.
- Added faster parameter monitoring support with VagCom interfaces. You can configure this functionality in Settings (KWP2000 Timings) when VagCom interface is selected. You have 4 options: DEFAULT (this works the same way as previous Multiecuscan versions), OPTIMAL (this is the optimal speed as suggested by ECU), FAST (This is the fastest possible connection. It may be unstable.), SLOW (This is a slower connection which should theoretically offer better stability with slower computers).
Please note that the faster communication is usually only supported by the Engine ECUs and will probably have no effect on the other ECUs (like ABS and EPS). On my Stilo I successfully recorded a log with 1 parameter and 900 samples per minute.

NOTE: There is a bug in the PROXI Alignment function - It works ONLY when data language is set to English!!! I will release a fixed version in a few days.

There is a problem with some ELM interfaces and Grande Punto/500/MITO/Punto Evo. Many people can not connect to the engine ECU.
The problem is completely resolved now and I'm preparing version 2.6.1 and will probably publish it in a few days. It will work properly with all ELM327 interfaces.
There was also a problem with the "Scan" function in version 2.6 which is also resolved in 2.6.1.

There is one more thing to mention about these vehicles. In order to access some modules (like Service Interval Reset) you need a modified ELM327 interface. The two CAN lines which are originally connected on pins 6 and 14 should be moved to pins 1 and 9. DO NOT SHORT pins 1-6 and 9-14.

Regards,
Yani

Hi Yani,

I cant connect to the bodycomputer when i press the proxi allignement procedure. I get an error that there is no connection.

I have the same error when i try to startup with ctrl-f10 with and without the elm interface connected in the registrated version.

In the non registrated version i can enter this procedure with ctrl f10

All other options are working fine, so i can read can info

Best regards Gerry

Hi,

Please set your data language (in Settings) to English and try again. I think that this could be a bug.

Hi yani,

Thanks for your quick reply,

i changed the data settings into english instead of dutch and im now able to enter the proxi allignement procedure with ctrl -f10.

I have just tested it on my car ( alfa 147 1.9 jtd 140hp). It said not proceded at the end, but the odo meter is not flashing anymore, so it works fine! :D

Thanks again for this functionality

Best regards Gerry

Hi Yani
I cant connect to the proxi allignement procedure. (Alfa 147 16 120HP 2001).
I conect to body comp and can check,TRW end also.
Settings for the English data ok.
I use the demo version, if that means, but everything else is connected but can not do anything further.
