I did read through it but was still slightly confused, thats why I posted the question. Thank you for clearing up that if I go with the CANtieCAR option then I won't need the other adapters. Im in the United States and it seems that the registered version seems good, yet the 2 companies in the states dont have any obd elm 327 adapters available right now. Then search for Guilia you will see that for your car you only need and ELM/OBDLink interface and two additional adapters, A5 and A6.
With CANtieCAR then these two A5 and A6 connectors will/should not be required.
Suggest you read the info / differences on the MES home page regarding the REGISTERED vs MULTIPLEXED versions and license/usage.
If you are only planning to use MES on your car and not in a professional/workshop capacity then you should consider the price difference/affordability.
The Multiplex package will cost you 300+ whilst one of the others only 120.

You can not damage your ecu by pressing scan. If you click the wrong ecu MultiEcuScan will select the right one automaticallyStanleyZ wrote: ↑06 May 2024, 17:34Can I ask here also about my car? If you can afford it then go for the CANtieCAR. One other advantage with doing this is that the license is tied/keyed to the CANtieCAR Interface and not the laptop/PC. This means you can use the MES software and your CANtieCAR interface on ANY PC/laptop.
