No glow plug light after "reset self learned functions"

Post by lstic » 21 Dec 2022, 13:58

Hello everyone,

I own a 2012 Fiat Punto 1.3 mJTD and I have licensed multiecuscan. On one occasion i executed the reset self learned functions option. As the description said, many functions have been forgotten and relearnt after executing them.
One thing I lost and never could get back is the glow plug light on the dashboard... I'm not sure if they work now. I tested them phisically and they're good (replaced 30.000 km ago), my mechanic friend tried new glow plug control module and still the same...
On multiecuscan i can execute all the lights on dashboard, but executing glow plug light gives no result...

Has anyone experiences similar issue?

Thanks in advance!

Well it used to be until i did the reset self learned functions.
Do the led's on instrument table have tendency to die? I'd understand if it was headlight led or something that's constantly on. But glow plug light works for a few seconds a day mostly...
