Faulty blue & me can’t do a Proxy alignment.

I have a flashing mileage and my blue and me is faulty. (The phone will connect to it but the audio of a call never goes through)
I have fitted an aftermarket stereo so no longer need the blue and me. But I still have flashing mileage.
I’ve tried to do a proxy alignment but it fails at convergence telematic node.
Is there a way of skipping the blue and me or making the car think it’s being removed?
Car is an Abarth 500 2012 Uk model
