As in the topic. As far as I know, certain airbag, ABS modules communicate on K-Line protocol, connected to specific OBD2 pins.
K-line is ISO 9141. ELM327 seems to support ISO 9141, and certain interfaces do have connected pins on pin 7 of it's OBD connector.
What is the reason for that Multiecuscan only works with VAG/KKL with these airbag, ABS, etc. modules?

To my knowledge this is not an MES issue.
It is a basic KKL native hardware support vs ELM emulation support issue on non KKL hardware.
Plenty of other software packages (e.g Alfa OBD) that utilise KKL, ELM, OBDLINK chipsets have the same issues connecting to older ECUs where only genuine KKL only hardware works.
