Multiecuscan Full package.

Post by Timmy » 30 Dec 2017, 20:33

I recently downloaded multiecuscan to help with my ABS issues.

Changed to two front discs, brakes , and ABS sensors and leads.

Before this I had " incoherent wheel speed" on front lefthand wheel.

After the sensor change for new items, I now have " left front wheel sensor in OC"

I cant erase any errors related to this.

Question??

Will the full licensed version of Multiecuscan allow me to pinpoint exactly where my problem lies.

Yes the paid version of MES will allow connection to the ABS unit and be able to measure parameters and reset errors.

Both the run logs and csv data recordings are stored by default in the MES program directory (c:\Program Files X86\MultiECSScan)

From what I can understand C codes basically relate to the codes describing faults in the ABS control module.

I am getting wheel speed faults, incoherent speed, sensor open circuit faults in Multiecuscan programme.

But No DTC faults at all. And all my solenoid load valve tests all "Failed to Execute".

I would like to know if Mecuscan records these as a DTC or specifically C code.

Thankyou,
Tim

If MES when reading the ABS Unit detects an error it will display the error code. Same for any control node.

Here is a list of the industry Generic codes for Chassis Issues. https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes ... -codes.php

Note all the ABS related ones. Fiat will also have their own manufacturer specific codes.

MES displays the error itself " Left wheel sensor in OC",

but where does it display the numeric code related to this. Is it on the same screen as this written error,

or is it displayed in a log file saved somewhere else.

It gives me the written errors, but I dont know where the numeric ones are.

The link you posted is where I,ve noted these C codes that could clarify things for me.

As I,m getteing the written ones I,m assuming my KKL interface is suitable for the numeric ones too.

But I,m open to any help or correction on this one.

Thankyou for the help,

Tim
