Com port settings are OK, but I Can't connect to ECU.
I tried .NET 2.0 and .NET 3.5 ... and nothing.

Is this possible to using ebook to scan ECU?

I have Asus Eee PC 1001HA and have succesfully connected with Lancia Kappa 2.4 JTD engine's ECU (Multiecuscan 1.6). The only thing that doesn't work propertly is odometer value. The shown value is much lower than it should be - about 4 times lower.

There is nothing wrong with using a netbook. I'm using an EEEPC 701 (only celeron 900 and 1g of ram) and after setting the latency to minimum - it works ok.
It was a little sluggish with only 512k of ram - but with 1G seems to work ok.

edit: with the odometer - are you 100% sure the car wasnt tampered with? i had no problems in reading km - it only shows a little lower number (e.g. 1k km "error" at a 100k km on dashboard) which is normal.

The car has 221 k km on dashboard, multiecuscan 1.6 shows 51 k km (much less) and multiecuscan 1.41 shows 1745 k km (nearly 8 times more). I think multiecuscan odometer's value is just wrong.

Asus ACPI drivers are the problem.
I moved asusacpi.ini and asusacpi.sys from C:\windows\system32\drivers.
Multiecuscan works although windows reports acpi error.

I have tryed ecuscan on asus eeepc 701 and in a dell mini 910.
I have an usb interface with elm 327, you must install ftdi drivers, virtual com port ( later you can assign the free port you want).I have assigned com 1 in my dell mini..
I have tested the software on Fiat punto mk2b 1.2 8V 2006,fiat punto 1.3 mj 2003 and fiat doblò 1.3 mj with dpf.

I have see in the odometer the incorrect milleage of my car. I have in dahboard 78850 km , the software signs 78568
