Running MES natively on a MAC is not possible.

Booting a Windows operating system (bootbamp ?) and using MES *may* be possible although there may be USB/COM issues (I've seen references to these on various forums).

Running Windows under a VM (Virtual Machine) is not really a option. I have experience of people using hardware controlling software that I write and all sorts of issues have arisen due to the VM not being able to give full, proper and timely support access to the COM ports. I had to radically change my COM software (with respect to timings/timeouts/etc) and I would suspect that MES would require the same treatment which I doubt will ever happen.

Bottom line is MES is a *native* Windows only supported program requiring direct hardware access and control and any deviation from that is going to be a risky gamble.
