Just out of curiosity (and desire to learn, of course), which the Fiat system uses the L line (pin 15)?

In older VW, the pin 15 is still needed :roll: :)

Hi Waltomatic,

The hood Module is the ecu for the electric Capote/Soft Roof.

I am still wandering if any Spider owner can check if they can connect on 16 Pin port.
Also, if you have the 3 pin in the battery compartment.

Hi,

I am interested in that topic. I have an Alfa Romeo spider of 2003, and same problem than you trying to access electric hood diag. It works for all other diag but not for the hood with purple adaptor!! And I am using MES 2.3.... did you try with 2.3?

Most Spiders use a 3-pin adapter for the electric hood. See here
