Punto 1,2 16V scan

Post by Izimo » 18 Feb 2010, 22:25

Hi guys,

First of all thanks Yani for this scansoftware!

I have the VAG Com K-Line cable and I've solderd the 1-7-9 pin to the K-line.

If I choose the Fiat Punto '99 1,2 16V I only have the 3 airbag options, but cannot connect to the ECU (I think because of the pin 3 that isn't connected to the K Line?), but I can't read the engine ECU. My Punto Sporting (MK2a 10-2000) hasn't got no ABS or ESP.

I know that the Lanci Ypsilon has the same engine as the Punto, so I've chosen that to read the engine ECU and it does connect, but I get the 'Wrong ECU ISO code' warning, but it does work.

What can I do about that?

the punto 1.2 16V ecu is a little different from the other 1.2 16V ecus. it's a ME 7.3H4, while the ECU on the STILO or lancia is a ME 7.3H4M i think.

Yeah, but where can I choose to connect to the engine ECU instead of only the 3 airbagmodules?

On the homepage it says there are 'reset/programming options', but how can I program or reset things? (that's the main reason why I've downloaded the program)
