Stilo service reset

Post by spark » 25 Sep 2013, 15:34

At the moment i have the free version 1.7 and a elm interface and I have just tried to reset the service counter for a 2003 Fiat Stilo 1.6 16v but although on the website it seems i can do the reset as the module is not in red all i get is "free version restriction" I just want clarification on what is correct

Thanks

Mark

I think this is probably a Support Vehicles documentation error.

On the last *free* version of FiatECUScan (V1.6) this *may* have been supported (as was the Fiat Croma Oil Change Reset). MultiECUScan V1.0 introduced CAN support and the 1st non free function support which is generally all CAN based modules. However some non CAN based functions (like the Fiat Croma Oil Change Reset) also moved to the paid support model.

I believe only Yani can definitively state what the real position is.

Hello
Thanks for the reply it's fine if that's the case. I will have to get the full version at some point soon. Just thought I could get it all done now and not wait for pay day ;)
