Reprogramming Key

Post by fableo » 02 Apr 2013, 11:31

Hi everyboody,

I have a little problem.
after the reset counter, my key remote control does not operationnal.
I see it's possible to reset the key (http://www.alfa147-france.net/forum/vie ... sc&start=0)
My problem is : how to find the security code?
Because, i have just the key master.

Thanks.

ps: Sorry for my English. :)

So your remote control is not working?
But you can unlock car mechanically and your key can start the car?

For security code you have 2 options:
- go to main official Alfa/Fiat/ Lancia dealer and order your code by VIN of your car (in Germany it is 25€), or
- go to some electrician who can read main chip from your Body ecu and send that BIN file to me and I will give you a 5 digit security code for free. ;)

I do not Know anyone for read main chip from body Ecu.
Is not possible to read main chip with the Multiecuscan ?

With Multiecuscan, i see "Latest Used Key ID" with the information : 17C25908
And "Last used remote Control Id" with the information "239".
The transponder is C-CAN.
In the "disabled Keys", i have "0"

See the document PDF "screenshot".

To read main chip you need special programmer.
You can not do it with MES. It is not simple as that...

Regarding your key with remote control, probably transponder from key is missing. Maybe is not there in the key. If everything is there than you need to program the key again to memorised it in you ecu.

If your second key is working and the first one is not working the second key will not be disabled by itself. You can disable it only with diagnostics.

So for example if you have car with 3 keys and you lost one key. So to make it sure you want to record existing 2 keys in your car ecu because you want to be sure that your car will not be stolen. So when you start procedure with diagnostic equipment to record the keys, 2 of them in your case, software will memorise only 2 of them but the third key will be disabled. Then when you connect with MES there you will see that 2 keys are enabled and one is disabled.

You could use a scripted player that activates a trigger when a key is down:
If IsKeyDownwhich ever key

ActivateTriggername of trigger;
