Hi,
don't think that your driver is the problem, looks like your cabel has FTDI chipset.
Here you can download the newest drivers:

Greets and good luck, Bu11y.

Hi,

Any other people with Hitachi who have problems?
Are you sure that yours is '98? Because there is an older Hitachi MPI ECU (before year 98) which is not supported.

yes I'm sure, I have version 98, all the parts in my car are versions 98, Coupe was produced as a version 96, 98 and 00, my is v. 2/98 and operates reliably on Uniscan Visa 1.83 (http://ravenia.xf.cz/euroscan-PL.zip) and Bosch KTS

...and that is definitely the old version of Hitachi MPI.
The '98 version is marked as "HITACHI - MPI - MFI '98" in Visa Uniscan 1.83...

hmm, :| and will ever support for the old version 98 and 96? ;)
I really have version 98 because 96 is different (all parts in e-per is for 98), so maybe it is the transition between versions
