ELM327 Problem

Hi, I have problem with my ELM 327 and FES 3.3 trial...
The interface is correctly recognized by the system and the test is ok:

Questa interfaccia è compatibile con ELM 327 1.4! Dovrebbe collegarsi correttamente con tutti i moduli CAN.
But I can connect only at the engine's ecu, why??
If i try to connect to Service interval reset or to body can info, I have this message:

I have call the seller of the interface, he told me only remove R04 (see immage attached) from the board :mrgreen:
Now I can connect to CAN....... I think this is V1.5 FAKE :?: need capacitor's and resistor's??

No, you do not need to do more.
These Interface v1.5, pin 6 + 14 R04 with this resistance
connected and that can not recognize and does not connect Multiecuscan
her.

The error with the resistor R04 R14 was also partly here already
more than once.

I just bought ELM327 and fes 3.3 to make service and proxies alignment to cars Fiat-Alfa. I had these problems: Fiat Doblo 1.9multijet : connection failed check com port-eobd. alfa brera ok, I controlled motor parameters, service and number of ECU programming. when making proxy alignment during bodycomputer data write operation it fails . ..it continues to write the device data but at the end It fail again.. test results are all ok except elm 1.3 + (? i thinking to bought 1.4 version) and latency is too high ... I do not know what to do ....(i pray to you excuse my orrid english) thankyou for aid

the elm scan says: all ok, but the version is 1.3+ and the latency is too high. this is usb version.i dont know how to adjust the latency... the ELM seller says is impossible that the interface can be a 1.3 version .he is disposed to send me another tested 1.4 interface.I'm waiting for this
the port setting is ok as well as the clocking rate . i was able to connect FES with my brera , read all engine function,enter in all device of the car and starting the proxi alignment process .it fails while write the body computer data.what you think about?meanwhile i brought the doblo to mechanic :(

And again please, you get a connection to the engine control unit
but not to the body computer, service?

Is that right?

The only real ELM327 from ScanTool.net will give you the real firmawre version as they are theirs ! The chinese clones (and there are quite a few it seems), shows any thing from 1.2 to 1.5 (mine says 1.5) These are irrelevant. It works or it doesn't. For the CAN, modify the interface as described somewhere else.
If it works, fine. If it doesn't and you need it, get the authentic interface.
As for the vendor opinion ? I prefer not to give my opinion about it. Let the clown send you an other clone, may be it will be from a different source and better behaved.
