See pictures. You should be unsolder and cut this pin and his place solder wire. This wire you should solder to switch. And from switch solder other wires to pins on OBD connector. One for pin1, one for pin 3, one for pin 7 and one for pin 9. do you understand me?

Hi!
Thank you guys for helping us out, especialy "davan", "pepazdepa 408" and "oem", which were for me the most helpful since its' the same type of cable.
I'd like your confirmation before I plug this one to my car, I'd realy hate it if everything including airbags went to hell...
If I'm not mistaking, it should work like this:
switch 1 to ON position - engine
switch 2 to ON position - airbag
switch 3 to ON position - ABS
switch 4 to ON position - EPS
(all other positions OFF)

Thank you all again!
cheers

Hi, on my Abarth the connection to the ESP not work,

I have the Interface with a 4-way DIP switch

1- the orginal connection (Selespeed) // works.
2- ABS on Pin1 //work
3- Airbag on Pin 3 // work
4- ESP on Pin9 // not work - no ecu response.

Hi. I have just taken my cable to modify it as above but my cable is different. I appear to have two connections from the main plug to the motherboard missing. Before I go ahead an modify it can someone please confirm I have the right cable.

Everyone says to cut the third connection from the left as you look at the back of the plug but I have no connections to the right of this. Below is a picture. I got my cable off Amazon and just want to be sure it is right as it. Thanks Max

You should not just cut "3rd wire from left" or so. There are different cables out there. Use a multimeter to find the correct line to cut.
