Cable wont work with New Laptop on 64bit Win 7, Please Help?

Post by shrewiside » 02 Sep 2011, 20:54

Hi all

as title suggests, my new laptop, which has Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OS, won't support my cable, so FES is currently unavailable for me!!!

Can anyone point me in the right direction for the correct cable and/or driver i need to get up and running again please?

cheers

What cable are you using?

A lot of the ELM and KKL cables use a USB serial convertor based on the FTDI VCP chips.
You can get drivers for those from here:
