Problem connecting to CAN

Post by dfi » 12 Aug 2011, 07:52

I have a OBDLink interface, I can connect to engine via k-line but not via CAN. The CAN works though in VAG engines. I have sent the error log, is from a fiat punto. Thank you.

Hello

Which OBD interface do you have?
Without a more accurate description you will be able to help a little.

Do not hesitate to FES / Settings / Interface a test, and fix this one

I already said the interface is OBDLink from ScanTool.net. I nhave also tried on fiat ducato and doblo and the same issue, it won't connect on CAN.

Also, forgot to say, FES is registered.

Hi,

I saw your log files.
The interface cannot connect to the CAN network and gives error. There are other people who reported problems with this OBDLink interface. So, probably you need to get an ELM327 interface and try with it.

So isn't there a workaround to my problem? maybe change some of the programmable parameters, or changing the speed of the interface?

Hello

So my question for a screen test
Then you could possibly see where the problem is with the interface.
