INVALID ISO CODE - ERRATIC VALUES RED

Post by ALFA166V6TB » 22 Jan 2011, 14:13

Hi all,

I have recently got an ALFA 166 2.0 V6 TURBO Year 1999 with 135000 km), and now I am getting in troubles with the engine. It is running very poorly.
I have bought an ELM327 v1.4 USB interface to look at ECU defaults and values.

I am currently trying Multiecuscan (trial) before to invest in the full version. But I am facing two problems:
- ISO code is invalid according FECUS,
- ISO code scanned is different from the one expected by FECUS,
- values red are absolutely meaningless (ex: Speed varies from 1à to 100 in one second !!!),
- FECUS Status bar complains about interface slowness.

Here attached screenshots of the two ISO codes.
What should I do to get everything in order ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

This is SIMULATION mode. This is not real data from the vehicle. Try pressing F10 or clicking with the mouse on Connect button.
CTRL+F10 - connection in simulation mode
F10 - normal connection

Hi Yani,

Thanks for your attention.

Well, I did simulation mode because otherwise I got the message
This module requires registered version. You must use simulation mode by typing CTRL-F10
and was disconnected forcibly.
Is it normal behavior ?
If yes, then I cannot try the software in real conditions.
I am ready to buy one licence, but how to be certain that it will work as expected ?

Regards.

OOOOPPSSSSSSS,

I just discover that Bosch Motronic ME 2.1 (2.0 V6 TB) is only supported by Registered Version.
I did not pay attention to red colored lines in SUPPORTED VEHICLES/SYSTEMS list at http://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx.
Sorry for that but it is not so evident for daltonian people. :o
I am going to buy the license, so (no choice). :x
