Works KKL USB INTERFACE with multiecuscan without soldering ?

Post by darioyu » 13 Sep 2010, 08:45

HELLO !

I have one question about that.
I will like to use KKL VAG usb interface with multiecuscan.

Works KKL USB INTERFACE with multiecuscan without soldering wire to 1,7,9 pin ?
Do i have to solder a short wire to 1,7,9, pin ?
Is it working (abs, airbag) without soldering a short wire ?

Please answer me.

THANK you !

The KKL interface will work without making the wiring modifications BUT WILL ONLY GIVE YOU ENGINE ECU information.

To connect to ABS, Airbags etc. then pin 7 must be connected to the relevant pin.

See this: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1499

It is not recommended to connect all the pins together. Much better to use DIP switches or an EOBD patch box.
