After removing the resistor..., can we use the ELM327 normally on others cars (like VW, Peugeot...)?

good evening I'm new, thank you in advance because thanks to you I managed to change some interfaces.
I bought an elm327 v2.2 clone interface for a friend. not at the resistance between pins 6-14. but it does not work with Multiecu and alfaobd, with Torque or other yes. someone can help me.

Your ELM327 works only with OBD-2 protocol
You need to buy ELM327 on a PIC chip

Buona sera a tutti,
sono nuovo nel forum.
Ho allegato le foto del mio Elm327 per Alfa Romeo ma secondo voi devo apporre qualche modifica? (Il venditore lo vende come interfaccia già modificata per alfa Romeo)
Perché con mes3.9 e cavo n°3 giallo non si connette alla centralina, invece con il mes 3.62 si connette ma esce scritto un messaggio "Codice ISO non valido per il sistema scelto su questo veicolo".
