It says there is an error connecting. do i have to remove any resistance? I can't read the resistance because it's too small. thanks for any help.!Image

Hi! I'm new to the forum and sorry for my english. I have a bluetooth module (For italian cars) that works perfectly with the A..aOBD program on Android. This module does not communicate with Fiatecuscan and Multiecuscan programs via CAN network. I bought a USB module (according to the store, it is suitable for Fiat ECU reading), it doesn't communicate with any program either, only engine information and ABS, steering with a green cable. The "service" doesn't work either. I modified this module so that the R4 resistor was removed. No change. Please someone help me. The OS is Win10 Home 64bit, the car is Fiat Croma 1.9JTD 16v, 2005. MES 3.91r. Thank you. Andrew

ALFAEDDY Thank you for answering the same questions over and over again for so many years because no one wanted to read two pages of the thread. I enjoyed spending 5 hours reading the topic last night and was full of admiration for your patience. Respect.

Hi,

Recently bought an ELM327 kit, having a few issues to get it working with my car though, have installed all drivers and trouble shooted with easyOBD to check that its actually connected to the computer and it communicates with MES showing as a v.15 ELM327.

Issue i have is as soon as i plug in the yellow cable and try to connect to the car i get a canbus error, been doing allot of digging on this thread and see that a 120 0hm resistor can stop the can communicating, i buzzed pins 6 and 14 and can confirm i have a 120 ohm resistance, been trying to identify the board i have and cannot seem to find it in this thread(allot of pages), is anyone familiar with this board or can point me in the direction/identification of the 120 ohm resistor on this board?

Sorted buzzed the board and found the 120 ohm resistor connected to 6 and 14, see picture attached, all works now and managed to do dpf reset and connect fully to ecu. I bought this kit off of amazon and for anyone who has this problem and has the red board see picture below of 120 ohm resistor to remove.
