Another cheap 'Chinese clone', from eBay (UK seller, not china or HK), received 3 days ago.
It was sold as ELM 327 1.4 'with a genuine ELM chip'. :?
(For my personal information, I would really like to recognize a genuine ELM chip from a fake one)

Actually everything is working well FES wise, which makes me think it is actually an genuine ELM1.4
- NO communication problems, all ECU are recognized.(Airbag and steering not tested, pins 1-7-9 not soldered yet)
- NO problem to get access to service reset.
- NO installation problem. Just the drivers for FTDI USB to install.

On the last pic we can see the 100 Ohm resistors (R25/R26) for CAN H/L lines with associated capacitor (C14/C15)
Same combo shown by members in the last posts.

Hope it can help you to find the correct interface
Hi,
I have the same interface, but it doesn't work. I was removed R25, R26 and C14, C15 and it still doesn't work :/ What should I do with this interface to work properly?

500, Punto and Mito require different CAN connections.

This is probably your problem.

You need ELM C19 - ELM 327 v1.3+ interface with ADAPTER CABLE 3 (or modified interface with CAN lines connected to pins 1 and 9 instead of 6 and 14)

Hello

If I am right you have to replace the capacitors C1 and C2 against which with 560 pF
The resistors can remain there have been 100 ohms.

My bad interface looks like this. Not sure which version it is. So, do i need to remove R14 and solder 100 ohm resistor and 560pf capacitor like what 1st post did to cure CAN issue?

Hello to all,
have same PCB like yincar.
Can I just desolder R14 without putting new resistor and capacitor(like Argo did, but with R04 in his PCB)?

Hi

Why do you have the 2 ohm resistor 4.7 kohm a change?
Where did you get this information?

The plan should follow the switch from ELM Electronics' yes after
MCR2551 a 100 ohm resistor and a 560 pF capacitor to be wired
