Ok, checked on alfa 159 and, as supposed, it was not possible to connect to anything. In addition, when i try to connect with multiecuscan at the engine ecu or with torque, turn on several anomalies:

- Airbag avary reported
- Abs/vdc avary reported
- water temperature gauge at full scale
- fuel gauge to zero and with reserve warning light blinking

This is the output of scan with multiecuscan:

I think in addition to sw buggy there is something wrong in the hw, and I always refer to the components that I have said in previous posts!

KillBill: Palio 2004 with 3-pin????????? Here in Brazil the previous models already used the OBD2 connector for years...

Your car does not have the OBD connector in the fuse box?

The failures reported occur simultaneously

@ Waltomatic

This Palio uses IAW 4sf-pc ECU with 3 pin connector (this is a original module from Fiat).

Below I attached one picture about the fuse box:

Look the ECU informations:

The ELM 327 only requires that the led + be connected on battery (pin 16 on OBD connector)
The negative that is used comes from the 3 pin connector (pin number 2).
The K line from ECU goes to pin 7 of OBD2 connector.

I've checked on the supported veicules and under Palio I didn't see the 3 pin being used in any of Palio's models.

Could you have used Multiscan in these kind of connection ?

Thanks in advance

OK, but I was really suprise: Brazil earlier than Europe?
The IAW 4SF family always used OBD connector here, including the Palio 2008 of my son.
In theory, I think it should work.

Hello Kill Bill

As Walter writes, it is strange that your Palio `04 has a 3 pin diagnosis connector.

But if it is so, then good

But the Palio is not read your ECU via CAN bus
therefore remove the resistor to read the engine control is unnecessary

It must also go so
Just try this driver

Ok Alfaeddy.

I am receiving a Vag Com dongle (USB) and I will try to connect with the ECU.

Thanks for your help.
