Hello

I would to ask you for help. I bought ELM 327 mini Bluetooth and read all this forum but there isn´t this same interface. I tried to find resistor R04 or with signature 121 but without success Could somebody help me to find what I must remove in this interface?

Remove the Resistor in the blue Frame ( R 34)
than you can read the CAN Bus Protokoll with your ELM

Thank you for your quick reaction. I removed the resistor R34 and tried to connect to CAN BUS protocol but still nothing. I didn´t have enough time, so i tried it only once. Today or tommorrow I will have much free time, so i will try it again and i will say you if it works or not.

Was your problem CAN bus ??

What car / controller you want to read?
check out:
- BT connection
- Drivers? not the driver using the Windows finds.

Maybe I found the problem. I have also wired version of ELM327. I modified it sometimes in the past by the instruction on this page. Propably it was your work thank you. That adapter works and I can connect to all control units in my car. I have Alfa Romeo 159 2.0 jtdm (year 2009). But with this BT adapter it not works I tried WIN XP also WIN 8. The bluetooth connection is OK also drivers. I used the newest version of Multiecuscan 2.2 also the older one 1.4 and without success. When I tested the adapter by function in Multiecuscan it showed me that this adaper is not compatible with elm v1.3. This version is 2.1. I took some pictures. Have you allready seen this problem?

Hi there,

I'm new in the forum and as everyone here, i've got a question for you guys.

I just rebuilt the engine of my Daewoo Rezzo (is the same engine of the Suzuki Forenza) and decided to scan the ECU to check any error. I just got my bluetooth ELM327 and after a few hours of trying several softwares (including Android apps) the thing can't connect to the ECU. The software/app can read the devide, but can´t connect to the ECU.

I just read about the resistor R04, i opened my devide and found out that's quite different to the ones i've seen here.

I'm 100% new with all this OBD scan system, so I hope you can give me hand here.
