Hi Alfaeddy,

well, that's the problem. Look at the first picture below.

Is this pin marking correct?:

And this is my adapter (PINs are marked as on picture above):

Is this correct pin-out?

Thanks.

Hello aaa456

The adapter (2nd picture) must go to the pin 1 on the connector pin 6 of the female connector
And pin 9 of the connector going to the pin 14 of the female connector

Is this so? on your adapter?

Your labeling of the pins is correct

Look again at the picture

Greetings Eddy

Hi Alfaeddy,

yes, that's how it is connected. I was wrong, adapter is connected correctly (I was probably looking on it upside down  ). Except one difference. According the scheme pins 4 and 5 should be connected together (short-circuit) but in my adapter they are just connected 4-4 and 5-5 (and not between pins). But maybe this is not a problem ...

So I really don't know where could be a problem ... :-( It's true that ELM interface connected directly to OBD in car is tighter than adapter (very loose). I tried to push it and hold it while I was trying to scan modules but no change ...

Thanks.

Hello M.

Right, pins 4 & 5 are not a problem because both pins are competent for the mass

And the pin 16 for the power supply interface is! Is this so? on your Adpter?

otherwise I would not remember where your connection error

Hi Alfaeddy,

yes, pin 16 is connected correctly (pin 16 to pin 16). I have to check it even more deeper ....

Thanks.

Hallo Yoko

Hi,

I have tried looking for my ELM 327 bluetooth module on this tread but can't seem to find it (The thread is so long now).

Here are photos of the adaptor, Does anyone know what resistor I need to remove on this in order to access the body computer?

Thanks
