Change pin KKL ELM

Post by Exside » 30 Jul 2010, 09:51

I modified elm I connected pin 7 pin1 and in doing so when they connect with me on multiecuscan ABS works. Now I want to connect the pin 9 and pin3 AIRBAG EPS.Per operation of these two pins should I connect them to what?. Among them, the pin1, 7 or another pin?. The other guides do not understand well. said connecting pins 1,3,7,9. But do not specify whether among themselves or another specific pin or a pin of these runs are listed all the other pins.

See this for pin functions: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1328

Pin 7 on the ELM327 to J1962 connector is the KKL line.

For airbags 7 must be connected to 3
For engine 7 is left asis
For ABS 7 must be connected to 1
For body computer, power steering 7 must be connected to 9

It is not recommended to have pins 1,3,7 and 9 all connected together at the SAME time.

Pins 1, 7 and 9 connected together appears to work for most people.
