oil topping up signal

Post by alessandrosx » 18 Dec 2019, 20:19

hello everyone,
on my fiat 500, I would like to enable the signaling on the control panel, the engine oil level signaling, which appears every 8000 km,
which bit of the body computer do I have to change to get this?
note that this system has no sensors, but is activated every 8000 km
thanks you

In MES
1) Select your 500 model/version/engine
2) Connect to the Service function/node
3) Then select Service Interval Reset (year model)
4) Open the Adjustments Tab
5) Then choose "Set Number Service Coupons" and set to 9

Fiats come come from the factory with 9 service coupons set. At each "Service Reset" the coupon count is decremented. When it reaches 0 then the vehicle will no longer signal service required warnings.

Hello,
the report you say is the car service,
what I mean, is only the ilium level refill warning, reported every 8000 km

Sorry but I can't help with this. I didn't know the 500 (or any other model) gives a reminder every 8000 km to check the oil level. Some models may have an oil level sensor which will trigger when the oil level drops.

no, reading the use and maintenance manual, it specifies that a warning light turns on when it exceeds 8000km and it warns you to check the oil level and to turn it off you must enter the control panel menu and confirm the reset item, then restart the count of 8000 km,
this system has no oil sensors, but is activated by a bit of the proxy

sorry for my poor english
