GP Lights failure warning light - can it be disabled?

Would it be possible to disable lights check system in Gande Punto MY06/MY08? Many owners want to replace original rear lamps with ones from EVO, but they have LEDs instead of bulbs what causes a light failure message to show and warning lamp on the dashboard to lit. In my opinion this system is pretty useless, because it often causes false alarms while, in other hand, it didn't work when I had no 2 out of 4 bulbs in the rear lamps nor when one of the front low beam bulbs went off.
