I've been doing my research and I've had some success :D

My car is a 2005 Facelift 147. Only the drivers side window is automatic up (both down) and there are NO anti-crush sensors on my car!

Using the Alfa Romeo eLearn CD I've managed to trace where both sensors should plug into the drivers side electric window / wing mirror control unit. They plug into connector H44a, 3a in the below picture which is the smaller of the two. The drivers side sensor plugs into pins 2/3 and the passenger side sensor plugs into pins 8/9. I don't have any wires plugged into those ports!

Setting anti-trap sensors present creates two errors, one for each anti-trap sensor as they are missing. Using an altimeter I managed to get the voltage down from 5V to 2.8V and I was able to get both windows working automatically, although not at the same time.

So I now need to figure out what size resistor I will need and how to keep them in place. I'll probably solder the resistor to some wire and hot glue the wire into the connector. Dirty but it will work!

I'll update this thread once I've figured it out :D

- look also at M82, connector K-19, K-24 and E3051, operation 7010M40.

Thanks for your help but I don't have rear windows :D

What size resistors have you used? I'm thinking of trying 2W 1K or 2W 1K5. I would like it to be 3V.

- 1K5 0.1W and must add diode 1N4148 for temperature compensation.
- supply for this circuit is + 5V.
- circuit diagram:

windows controller
+5V -> 1K0 >- 1N4148 >- point of K22, K23 ->100K to uprocessor.
K22 (K23) -> connector -> outside: (i'll try this inside ) 1k5 -> Anode 1N4148 cathode to GND.
:shock:

- in version 2.8 Proxy alignment is working very well.
- window anty-trap must be enable , next run Proxy alignment.
- and this is working for alfa 147 after 2005.

So does that mean that now with 2.8 the function to close windows works on Alfa 159 1.9 16V?
What is the procedure to do this?

We don't have a solution for 159 yet.
