Particle Filter (DPF) Replacement

Post by Joy » 10 Jul 2021, 00:43

Press F7 or click to Adjustments Menù --> Particle Filter Replacement (Only for version with DPF) and look at notes.

This procedure must be performed when the particulate filter (DPF) is replaced. It updates some of the parameters inside the ECU and resets the number of incomplete regenerations. Nice! But... Why I need 70°C engine temperature to do this?!? And others requirements too?

This is the warning for Particulate Filter Regeneration. So, is this a bug (warning of particulate filter regeneration reported for DPF replacement option) or there is really a regeneration after DPF replacement (I don't understund to do it...)?

NOTE: The following conditions are required to perform the procedure:
- engine temperature >70°C
- vehicle stationary
- engine idling (850 rpm +/- 50 rpm)
- brake and clutch pedals released.
ATTENTION: During the procedure DO NOT place the vehicle on flammable surfaces (ex. grass, etc.)
NOTE: If Forced Regeneration State shows 'Error' then the procedure has failed - stop engine an wait 15 seconds before repeating the procedure.
When Forced Regeneration State becomes 'OK' and Regeneration Progress becomes 100%:
- Turn the key to OFF
- Wait 15 seconds
- Turn the key to MAR
- Connect again and clear any errors.
