Hello,

I have an Alfa GT and I hesitate to register Multiecuscan. The main function which interests me is the "service reset". Because of what I read on this forum I am not sure that this function of Multiecuscan works well on an Alfa GT. Please could you confirm that this function works well on an Alfa GT.

If you can find a copy of Version 2.1 the unregistered version supports the service reset feature. It is only since version 2.2 you need to register to use the feature.

All the best

Hello,

I know that in the version 2.1 the service reset function is available free of charge, but it is not the object of my question. What I want to know is if service reset works correctly for my Alfa GT. If yes I agree to buy the version 2.2. As an ancient developer of software I know that the work of development deserves a payment.

Hi,

The Alfa GT Service Reset function is the same in v2.1 and v2.2. There are no changes in this functions.
It is actually the same on 147 and GT as they both have Mannesman/VDO instrument cluster.

Has something changed...? The version 2.2 I have requires registration for the service reset.

Update - Just downloaded and tried Ver2.2.1 - same message, registered version required.

hi

I have a registered version of the 2.1 using a elm 327 and cannot get into the service reset at all. Tells me to check cable or com port. I can only access the engine parameters but no abs, airbag or service?

Have you strapped the pins up? You need to perform the same modification as described for the KKL cable to access the various ECUs.
