To rset service interval you need a registred version of multiecuscan and an EL327 v1.3+ interface.
If you use an ELM 327 v1.2 or that chinese v1.5 you'll nannot connet anymore.
I tried it with an v1.2 and it dosen't worked, now I have an v1.3 and it works like a charm.
Try it

Got to the bottom of it in the end, the units should be set to Kilometers in the dash menu, then Multiecuscan will reset the 'distance to service to 0' then set the units back to miles.

All the best
