This forum is Comfortably Numb. Hello? Hello? Hello? Crickets.

After the free version connects, it says that I can only run simulation (with fake data) because it is not registered. Then it DISCONNECTS. wtf?

The free version only supports certain vehicles, models etc. See http://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx

The free version is perfectly functional on SUPPORTED models. For other models it goes into a 20 minute simulation mode where potential users/purchasers can view and examine what will be available in a purchased edition/license.
