Where to set registry pl2303??

Post by jtd_cf3 » 01 Apr 2010, 20:13

Note that for PL2303 USB serial port you will need to modify some registry settings in order to make it support 10400 bps.

Does anybody know where to set this registry?

I have the same problem. Can not make the ECU communicate with the software.I am using a Profilic USB to Serial Adaptor on a k-line cable.I am putting the new baud rate into the registry but no success. There is no such rate 10400 bps only the standard ones 9600 and next one 14400 bps. What should i do?How to install properly that baud rate 10400 bps?I got the reg file for that rate(i found it somewhere on the net) but can not make it happen.

Hi,i have another problem now.I have a new notebook ACER Extensa 5635Z with Windows 7 32 bit and i can not install the drivers for PL2303.I have tried all the drivers available on the net but no luck. The device can not be recognised. This cable PL2303 seems to be a pain in the ...ss.
Any suggestions besides:Get a new cable different from Pl2303. ;)
