Command ATSPC... timed out

Post by grimreaper19 » 19 Jan 2016, 22:07

Hi there

On the last couple of days I have been trying to connect to my Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.6 JTD-m2 120 (2015) using an ELM327 bluetooth adapter (a cheap one) and MultiECUScan. I installed 2 different versions of MES, being 2.8R1 the last one I tried, but had the same trouble with both.
After pairing the bluetooth device and configuring the interface on MES with the outgoing COM port, the Test fails on ATSPC COMMAND with a time out. Am I missing something? Or is it a faulty adapter?

Thank you.

I had the same problem. Windows 8.1 and 10 have a problem with bluetooth. You can try with windows 7 or Xp. I bought elm with usb and works well with windows 10 and multiecuscan

the issue is with the cheap ELM cables, not with the software
