Timeout and Data out of range error - Bravo Proxy Alignment

Post by berchielli » 24 Apr 2015, 02:50

Hello,

I have a brazilian Fiat Bravo Tjet 152HP 2013/2014 with factory navigation (RadioNav/InstantNav) and Blue&Me.

So, what I did was unplug the navigation and unplug Blue&Me. Obviously I got a flashing odometer after removing then.

Then I bought the MES e tried to do a Proxy Alignment and got this error:

If i plug both, the Nav and B&M again, and try another Proxy Alignment I get:

Any ideas on how to remove the factory navigation?

Hello Bericelli

Now I do not know if I translate it properly
You've unplugged the Navi / Blue & me?

Without it logging off with MES from the controller?

This should not do it !!!

Did you connect another device?
or again the same?

In both cases should always log off and log back on a
Be performed.

Is now a Navi / Blue & me installed in the vehicle ??

Hello Alfaeddy,

Thanks for your answer to my problem!!

My goal: replace the factory navigation system with another more modern. The problem is that he navigation is part of the CAN network and when I remove it, I get a flashing odometer.
I tried to fix the flashing odometer and got this error that I mentioned in this post.

The procedure that I did was this:

1) Uninstall navigator (RadioNav / Instant Nav)
2) Uninstall Blue & Me located in the glovebox.
3) Connect my ELM cable to my Bravo
4) Put the key car on MAR
5) Did the Proxy Alignment procedure with MES
6) Got the error message
7) Put Instant Nav and B&M back and did a new Proxy Alignment and everything went ok (no flashing odometer)

In the end, I was unable to get rid of the Instant Nav. Maybe there is right way to uninstall it and proceed with the Proxy Alignment?

Thank you

I manage to fix the issue just by setting "Information Display" to "Blue&Me" instead of "RadioNav" and everything worked.

Thanks
